2008 Youth Fair Market Hog Show

The Youth Fair Market Hog weigh in was held at 12:00am on Saturday, February 23, 2008. At about 2:00 in the morning, iPig weighed in at a heavy 282 pounds! She is the 2nd heaviest pig at the Fair. The heaviest pig has only 16 ounces on her! WOW! I am so proud of iPig!

~*NEWSFLASH*~ iPig placed second in her class at the Polk County Youth Fair Market Hog Show! I am so incredibly proud of her! She was AWESOME!

I placed 3rd in intermediate showmanship! What a fun competition!

iPig sold for $3.00 a pound to Sabal Transport. Thank you Sabal Transport for purchasing my hog for the 2nd year in a row! I am so thankful for your support!

Another successful Youth Fair has drawn to a close. Thank you to all of my friends and family who have supported me during this adventure. Without you this exciting experience would not have been possible! I learn more about showing hogs each year, and carry that knowledge into the following year's project. I am already looking forward to next year's Hog Project!
