December 1, 2007 iPig Update!

Youth Fair weigh in was held on December 1, 2007. iPig had to weigh no more than 85 pounds on weigh in day. iPig was growing so quickly that we were anxious to get this weigh in behind us!

We got in line on the afternoon of the day before the weigh in so iPig could be done early on Saturday morning. At about 6:50am on Saturday morning, iPig had her turn on the scales. She stepped on the scales with much help from my buddy, Kenny Bob. Her weight was documented at 80 pounds! WOW! She was close to the 85 pound maximum weight, but just under, which was PERFECT!

I am so thankful that iPig has made the initial weigh in and is eligible to participate in the Youth Fair Market Hog program! Now we shoot for the next weigh in date in February. iPig must weigh at least 210 pounds during that weigh in.
